New home for Libertyville … Countryside FPD tanker

Grayslake Fire Protection District has recently acquired a 1988 Pierce Dash 1250-GPM, 2500-gallon tanker. The unit was originally purchased new by the Countryside Fire Protection District and later transferred to the Libertyville Fire Department in 2010, where it served for several years before being passed on to Grayslake. This historic tanker now becomes part of Grayslake's fleet, continuing its legacy of service. The vehicle has a rich history, having been used in numerous emergency responses over the decades.
