Yangquan pump a valve as a technology innovation projects
This year, Yangquan Municipality should focus on deepening the reform of the science and technology system, accelerating the establishment of an innovation-driven system where enterprises are the main players, guided by market demands, and integrating industry, academia, and research. The emphasis will be on key industries and core technologies, with a push to concentrate resources on major technological breakthroughs and collaborative development. Enterprises will be encouraged to enhance product diversity, improve quality, boost efficiency, and strengthen technological innovation and new product development.
To support this, Yangquan City has identified 28 technological innovation projects, focusing on supporting enterprise technology centers and prioritizing small and medium-sized enterprises in equipment manufacturing and the chemical industry. These projects include: the city pump factory's multi-stage welding pump, valve shares Co., Ltd.'s high-temperature dust gas butterfly valve, Xixiaoping Refractories' automation control for natural gas firing, Yangquan Aluminum Co., Ltd.'s optimized design of prebaked anode carbon blocks and energy-saving casting furnace technology, Ji Ji Tian Li Technology Industry Co., Ltd.'s advanced anti-acid lead-acid batteries, the city food company’s three-enzyme hypoglycemic potato flour production technology, and many others across various sectors.
Other notable projects include the development of high-purity solanesol by Shanxi Xinyuan Chemical, the frequency conversion magnesium alloy smelting device by Hengyuan Power Electronics, and the cold chain logistics solution by Yangquan Yun Ge Meat Products. Additionally, there are innovations in refractory materials, power electronics, food testing, and textile machinery, among others.
The total investment for these 28 technological innovation projects amounts to 109.3 million yuan, reflecting the city's commitment to fostering technological advancement and industrial upgrading. This initiative not only aims to drive economic growth but also positions Yangquan as a hub for innovation and sustainable development.
