Working fire in Chicago, 2-25-18

Tim Olk sent this account: "Engine Company 89 was responding to several garbage cans in an alley that had been set on fire. This incident occurred at 4327 N. Keystone. While they were dealing with that, Engine 89 received another call for garbage cans down the street from their initial location, dispatched by the main fire alarm system. When they arrived at the second location, Engine 89 was asked to respond to what turned into a full-blown working fire. There were two alley garages ablaze, and these fires had spread to engulf a two-story home. It was a chaotic scene as firefighters scrambled to control the rapidly escalating situation." Attached are several photos taken by Tim Olk showing firefighters working diligently after the alley garage fire. The images capture the intense effort required to manage such a challenging situation. Despite the complexity of the fire, the firefighters remained focused and professional throughout the operation.
