Chicago 2-11 Alarm at 1433 S Kenneth 5-23-13 (pt 2)

This is from Dan McInerney:

Some photos from this morning's 2-11 at 1433 S. Kenneth. I arrived late, after the fire had already been mostly contained. The blaze was in a three-story vacant apartment building marked with a red "X," indicating it was a total loss. The fire was primarily on the third floor, and crews used a tower ladder, the 5-5-2’s Snorkel, a multi-functional unit, and several handlines to bring it under control. Unfortunately, both TL14 and E99 had mechanical issues. E117 was called in to replace E99, and TL5 was dispatched for TL14. A few images are attached showing the scene and some of the equipment in action.
The first three shots show the Snorkel and multi-versal on the north side of the building.

Laminated Tube

A laminated tube packaging is a type of packaging made of multiple layers of materials laminated together to create a flexible tube. The most common materials used in laminated tubes are plastic and aluminum, which provide a barrier against oxygen, moisture, and light. Laminated tubes are commonly used for packaging toothpaste, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food products. They are preferred over other types of packaging because they are lightweight, easy to use, and provide better protection for the contents inside. Laminated tubes can be customized with different colors, designs, and printing techniques to enhance their visual appeal and branding.
