This message comes from Eric Haak: Eric Haak photo Eric Haak photo Eric Haak photo Eric Haak photo Eric Haak photo Eric Haak photo These images give a clear view of the firefighters' efforts as they worked to contain the blaze. Several engines, including Engine 123 and Engine 101, were seen on the scene. One of the photos shows a firefighter using a tower ladder, while another captures the extent of the damage with the house completely gutted. It's always sobering to see how quickly a fire can spread and destroy a home. Thanks to Eric for sharing these powerful images. Chicago Still & Box Alarm – 3/29/15
About 4:10 p.m. on Sunday afternoon (March 29), the Englewood Fire Alarm Office reported a fire at Garfield and Damen. The incident was quickly flagged by the office, and Engine 123 arrived to find a fully involved one-and-a-half story frame building. The photos in this gallery were taken approximately 20 minutes after the initial call.
BOPP Thermal Lamination Film is a type of heat laminating film made from biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) as the base material and processed through special coating or composite techniques. It is mainly used for surface lamination of printed materials (such as book covers, packaging boxes, posters, etc.) to enhance their wear resistance, water resistance, glossiness and aesthetic appeal.
Â
1. Key Feature
-High transparency: Maintaining the clarity and vividness of colors of printed materials.
-Excellent rigidity & flatness: BOPP substrate offers good stiffness and anti-curling property.
-Hot melt adhesive layer: Usually EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) or PUR (polyurethane) hot melt adhesives are adopted to ensure a firm bond.
-Temperature resistance: Adapt to the heating roller temperature of the laminating machine (typically 80~120℃).
-Waterproof and moisture-proof: Protect printed materials from the influence of moisture and stains.
-Glossy film: High gloss, enhancing visual effect.
-Matte film: Anti-glare, improving texture.
-Scratch-resistant/UV-resistant: Special coating to extend durability.
Â
2. Application Fields
-Printing and Packaging: Book covers, picture albums, color boxes, labels.
-Commercial Promotion: Posters, menus, business cards, tags.
-Industrial Uses: Electronic product instructions, waterproof maps.
Â
3. Production Process
-BOPP base film production: Two-dimensional stretched polypropylene film (to enhance strength and transparency).
-Coating/Composite: Apply hot melt adhesive (such as EVA) onto the BOPP substrate.
-Cutting & Conveying: Cut into different widths according to customer requirements (commonly 450mm/600mm etc.).
