Huntley FD apparatus
Scott Peterson recently shared some photos of firefighting equipment from the Huntley Fire Protection District. It seems that Huntley isn’t featured on the site just yet, but these images give us a sneak peek into their impressive fleet.
One standout feature on the new Ferrera Engine 944 is the unique lighting design on the front grille. Unlike other Ferrera units in the area, which display the brand name, this particular engine proudly showcases the “Huntley†name instead. Another interesting detail is the roll-up door at the rear of the hose bed, which provides an NFPA-compliant containment system for hoses. Most manufacturers have been opting for cargo-style netting, so this approach stands out as something different.
