Box Alarm in Skokie, 4-1-15
Firefighters from Skokie responded to a structure fire at 9163 Lincoln Avenue early Wednesday morning on April 1, 2015, around 11 AM. At the time, multiple Skokie units were already committed to emergency medical service calls. As they approached the scene, a visible fire header was noted, prompting the request for a Box Alarm even before their arrival. This call for additional support brought reinforcements not only from nearby Skokie companies but also from neighboring departments including Evanston, Wilmette, and Morton Grove.
