75 pesticide companies promise to provide safe pesticides to the community
On March 10th, the China Pesticide Development and Application Association convened its second plenary session of the council in Beijing. Liu Jian, Deputy Head of the State Council Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation and President of the association, delivered a keynote speech at the event. In his address, Liu highlighted the achievements made by the association since its establishment last year and outlined the next steps for its development. He emphasized that the association should seize the opportunities brought by administrative system reforms, leverage its strengths, serve the broader national interests, and contribute to the healthy and sustainable growth of the pesticide industry.
During the meeting, over 75 companies—including Jiangsu Red Sun Group and Jiangsu Kesheng Group—jointly issued a public commitment to provide safe and reliable pesticides to society. This pledge reflects their dedication to ensuring agricultural safety, protecting the environment, and supporting farmers' livelihoods.
In line with this commitment, the companies pledged to uphold the law, operate with integrity, ensure product quality, enhance customer service, and drive innovation. These five key principles form the foundation of their promise to the public.
First, they commit to strictly adhering to all pesticide regulations, including the Regulations on the Administration of Pesticides and related laws. They will not produce or distribute banned or substandard products, ensuring legal compliance across the board.
Second, they emphasize ethical business practices, fair competition, and industry self-regulation. Their goal is to build trust through transparency, quality, and accountability.
Third, quality remains their top priority. They will implement advanced quality management systems, conduct rigorous inspections, and eliminate counterfeit or low-quality products from the market.
Fourth, they are dedicated to improving customer service, offering after-sales support, and educating farmers on proper pesticide use. They also commit to addressing any quality issues promptly and fairly.
Fifth, innovation is key. The companies aim to develop safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly products, while promoting green technologies and energy-saving measures.
