75 pesticide companies promise to provide safe pesticides to the community
On March 10, the China Pesticide Development and Application Association convened its second plenary session in Beijing. Liu Jian, Deputy Director of the State Council Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation and President of the association, delivered a keynote speech. He highlighted the achievements made by the association since its establishment last year and outlined the next steps for its development. Liu emphasized that the association should seize the opportunities brought by administrative reform, leverage its strengths, serve the broader national interests, and contribute to the healthy and sustainable growth of the pesticide industry.
At the meeting, 75 companies, including Jiangsu Red Sun Group and Jiangsu Kesheng Group, jointly issued a public commitment to provide safe and reliable pesticides to society. This pledge reflects their dedication to ensuring agricultural safety, protecting the environment, and promoting the well-being of farmers and consumers.
The commitment to responsible pesticide use includes five key principles:
First, compliance with laws and regulations. The companies pledged to strictly follow the "Regulations on the Administration of Pesticides" and related policies. They will not produce or distribute banned, unregistered, substandard, or non-compliant pesticide products.
Second, integrity and ethical business practices. The companies aim to foster an industry culture based on trust, fairness, and self-discipline. They will avoid fraud, ensure transparency, and build public confidence through quality products and services.
Third, quality assurance. A strong focus on quality is central to their operations. They will implement rigorous quality control measures, adhere to industry standards, and eliminate counterfeit or low-quality products.
Fourth, improved customer service. Companies are committed to providing excellent after-sales support, addressing user concerns promptly, and offering guidance on the safe and effective use of pesticides.
Fifth, innovation and sustainability. The companies plan to invest in R&D, adopt green technologies, and develop safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly products to meet the evolving needs of the market.
