Shaanxi New Huanggong Launches HD320S Mine Transfer Machine

In early 2008, New Huanggong Company successfully delivered two HD320S mining transfer machines to a coal-fired power plant in Hulunbuir League, Inner Mongolia. These machines were the result of the company’s latest R&D efforts and marked an important step forward in its product development. The HD320S, developed in March 2007, is a specialized piece of equipment designed by integrating advanced foreign technologies with local operational conditions. It is primarily used for moving and repositioning belt conveyors in open-pit coal mines. Based on the yellow crawler model, the HD320S features an added tape transfer work device, powered by a renowned American Cummins engine that meets Euro II emission standards. With a lifting capacity of 10 tons, it is both powerful and environmentally friendly. The machine operates by clamping the rail of the conveyor belt using a transfer head, then lifting the rail to a specific height via a lifting cylinder. The main unit pulls the conveyor’s end, allowing it to be moved in one step. By repeating this process, the transfer machine moves back and forth along the conveyor belt, efficiently relocating the system to a new position. Compared to traditional equipment, the HD320S significantly improves efficiency, increasing productivity by over 30% while reducing costs by approximately 25%. Its flexible operation allows for either linear or fan-shaped movement, making it highly adaptable to different site conditions. Operators found it easy to use, and the system could be accurately positioned for optimal performance. After testing the HD320S, the company’s equipment supervisor expressed high satisfaction with its performance and efficiency. They expressed interest in continuing cooperation with New Huanggong in the future, highlighting the potential for long-term collaboration.
