The primary advantage of aluminum trim lies in its malleability, allowing it to be easily formed into various shapes and sizes. This makes it an ideal choice for edging, framing, and finishing applications in construction and interior design. Additionally, aluminum trim offers superb weather resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use without fear of deterioration or rust. Lincolnshire-Riverwoods FPD 75th Anniversary open house 6-7-15
I just got back from the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District’s open house, which took place on June 7th, 2015, to celebrate their 75th anniversary. It was such an incredible event, and I managed to snap quite a few photos while I was there. Here's what I captured:
---
Niko Stefani was kind enough to share his collection of shots from the day. He mentioned that several fire companies were present at the event. These included Engine Co. 51, Engine Co. 52, Truck Co. 53, Squad Co. 51, Battalion 51, Ambulances 51, 52, and 53, Dive/Rehab 51, Utility 51, and Chief’s vehicles 5100, 5101, and 5102.
I’ve included some of his photos below. The first one is a stunning shot of the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods FPD during the open house. The next image showcases a fire engine in all its glory, followed by a close-up of a fire truck. There's also a picture of a fire department support unit, which plays a crucial role in emergency response efforts.

Switching gears, Tim Olk shared some equally impressive photos of the staff and personnel who make this fire district run smoothly. One image features the team gathered together, looking proud and professional. Another shows a smaller group, perhaps involved in a briefing or discussion about their duties. Both photos capture the camaraderie and dedication of everyone involved.

As for more images, there’s so much to see! From the firefighters in action to the community members enjoying the festivities, the open house had something for everyone. It was heartwarming to see how the local residents came out to show their support for these brave men and women who work tirelessly to keep them safe.
This event wasn’t just about celebrating a milestone; it was about bringing the community together and honoring those who dedicate their lives to protecting others. I left feeling inspired and grateful for the hard work of the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District. If you ever get the chance to attend one of their events, I highly recommend it—you won’t regret it!
