This message comes to us from Josh Boyajian.
A structure fire broke out this afternoon at 9105 South Crandon Boulevard. The incident occurred in a one-and-a-half story, split-level home. Engine 46 arrived to find heavy flames erupting through the front of the building. Unfortunately, there was someone trapped inside who couldn’t be saved.
Attached are several images captured by Josh Boyajian. The first photo shows the severely damaged house, its interior gutted by the intense fire. In the next two images, you can see firefighters working under challenging conditions, cutting holes in the roof that’s covered in snow—clearly an effort to ventilate smoke and heat while battling the blaze. The final picture offers another view of the house, highlighting the extent of the damage caused by the inferno.
It’s always heartbreaking to hear about incidents like these, especially when they result in loss of life. Our thoughts go out to those affected by this tragedy.
