The Twin Screw Extruder and Pelletizing System is designed for processing waste materials, especially those requiring high performance in melting, volatilization, and filtering. It is primarily used for the recycling and re-pelletizing of PET scraps.
To reduce IV reduction during the recycling of PET flakes or scraps, it's essential to have a precise recycling system and reliable equipment. This system integrates international advanced recycling technology and is tailored for recycling washed PET plastic flakes and scraps from various sources such as cola bottles, purified water bottles, PET sheets, and drinking bottles.
After undergoing processes like feeding, heating, melting, cooling, drying, and cutting, the final products are PET plastic pellets that can be used to produce new PET products.
 
Features of
Twin Screw Extruder and Pelletizing System for PET Plastic
The screw is made of high-quality tool steel 38 CrMoAl or W6Mo5Cr4V2. The special screw combination features an Euro-style rectangular barrel with optimized reflux refrigeration channels, resulting in a smaller temperature difference in D areas.
An innovative heater-tightened design ensures efficient heat transfer and long-lasting heater life.
High-quality nitride steel is used for the material, offering corrosion resistance and anti-friction properties, along with two sets of vacuum systems designed specifically for the application.
A new parallel three-axis drive system combines the convex axis, conveyor chain, decelerator, and torque, making the system compact. Key bearings use imported soaking and spray lubrication technology, enhancing tooth face strength and ensuring high torque, precision, and low noise.
Drive components are selected from premium materials, including super alloy, cementite steel, and hardened and ground parts.

1. Screw Feeder: The first step in the pelletizing recycling machine, where PET plastic flakes or scraps are conveyed into the hopper via a screw. A sensor detects the material level in the hopper, stopping the screw when full and starting it again when empty.
2. Extruder: For plasticization and degassing, this specialized single-screw extruder melts pre-compacted material. The plastic scraps are well melted and plasticized in the first stage, then extruded by the second stage. With a double-zone vacuum degassing system, volatile substances like low molecular compounds and moisture are efficiently removed, making it ideal for heavily printed films and materials with some moisture content.
3. Non-stop Hydraulic Screen Filter Changer: Double-stage filtering, with initial filtration in the first extruder and fine filtration in the second, reducing the frequency of filter changes. The filter technology requirements depend heavily on the quality of the input material and the intended use of the granules.
4. Water Cooling: Made of 304 stainless steel, 4 meters in length filled with water to cool the melted plastic.
5. Cutting Pelletizing: Equipped with high-speed steel and hard alloy cutting blades for reliable performance. A compact structure reduces maintenance needs.
