When talking about the characteristics of the current economic operation of the machinery industry, Xianghui said: First, the slowdown in growth has slowed down and the economic situation is stabilizing. The decline in industrial output value and export growth rate is decelerating, and the profit growth rate has increased slightly from month to month. From January to July, it was 2.56%, which was more than 7 percentage points higher than that at the beginning of the year. Second, the overall rate of production and sales of products rose slightly. From January to August, the rate of production and sales of machinery industrial products was 97.46%, which was 0.41 percentage point higher than the 97.05% in the first quarter. Third, signs of stabilization have shown signs of slowing growth in most industries. Fourth, despite slowing demand and insufficient ordering, the number of inquiry and consulting firms increased, indicating that market demand began to show signs of warming. Fifth, the state’s support for private and small-scale enterprises has been continuously strengthened, and private enterprises’ contribution to the machinery industry has increased.

Xianghui finally stated that, on the whole, the growth rate of the machinery industry has basically bottomed out, but it cannot be expected that it will pick up quickly thereafter; it is estimated that this will continue for a longer period of time on a new platform that has fallen sharply from previous years. run.
