Caterpillar's latest smart devices and services unveiled at 2019 Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition

Beijing – Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) exhibited numerous mechanical equipment, latest technology and service capabilities at the China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technology Exchange (BICES 2019). Five new CAT excavators, including the 349 excavator and the 323 GC excavator, can increase fuel efficiency by up to 25% compared to previous models, while reducing maintenance costs by 15% and 20%, respectively, further helping customers create value. The 349 excavator also comes standard with CAT Smart Technology, which increases operator efficiency by up to 45% compared to traditional construction work.

Two new CAT new mini hydraulic excavators 306 and 306.5 are designed to provide superior performance to customers. Compared to previous models, performance can be increased by up to 10% and fuel consumption by up to 15%.
