A related person from FAW Group Import and Export Company stated that FAW is fully accelerating the construction of overseas vehicle bases.
It is reported that FAW Group has recently completed a draft letter of intent for cooperation with GAZ Group, Russia’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer. The two parties will jointly invest in the establishment of a production base in Russia to produce and sell medium and heavy trucks under the FAW brand. Within three years, local production reaches 5000 to 10,000 vehicles. It is reported that FAW will provide production technology to GAZ Group and use its sales network in Russia.
